Dr. Jerry Thacker - The 6th Kingsmen

Just as the days get shorter and darker the nights get brighter with the start of Penn High School basketball and this promises to be a very special year. We have strong senior leadership along with very talented players led by our Hall of Fame Coach Al Rhodes. I am anticipating a great season!

The game of basketball is a valuable training ground for a successful career in the 21st century. It requires teamwork, physical endurance, mental focus, and the ability to act quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, our coaches always emphasize the importance of character and doing the right thing.

Some of our students go on to play ball in college, however, all student athletes continue with their education and careers. The Penn basketball experience provides valuable preparation for life and plays an important role in the future success of our students.
